I am a former elementary school teacher who has taught school for many years, substituted and tutored. My specialty areas include reading, writing and spelling at any grade level or age and, math through grade five.
The reason I left the school system is that I know children learn most effectively with a one-on-one tutoring situation. While I am teaching, I build a child's self-esteem as well thereby helping to promote more effective and efficient learning skills.
I make learning interesting and fun and have many success stories.
My charge is only $10.00 per hourly session in order to keep it affordable for you in order to get your child the help required.
My interest in all of this is to see to it that your child learns the necessary skills in order to be successful in life.
