This is a truly amazing piece. It is an amazing Pyrography on Leather from South Africa.

Pyrography is the art of decorating wood or other materials with burn marks resulting from the controlled application of a heated object such as a poker. It is also known as pokerwork or wood burning

It fills a large feature wall at over 4feet square.
It is part of my personal collection that I am selling prior to returning overseas. I do not want to put my pieces back in storage.
His piece was appraised at over $8000.00 in 2003.
I am willing to let it go the right home for $4500.00.
