These mounts are CNC plasma cut out of 3/8” steel (even the gussets). If you are using a early Ford I beam, (with split bones or batwings) and want to run a suicide spring on the front these will work for you. “Most” guys running a 28/34 axle run the spring over the axle, but guys running a 35-48 axle and want to go to a suicide, these are PERFECT. However if a guy was wanting to run a “T” type front spring (26/27” or so) they would work for any early Ford I-beam.Why spend all day cutting/fitting/grinding when these are dirt cheap? They come undrilled because different spring shackle mounts from different companies use different sized holes. If you want them drilled out, just let me know what size.
